A company named Ayoub Ahmad has unveiled STRACTRA, a cutting-edge concept watch crafted entirely from 3D-printed titanium. The hour markers are displayed along a 180-degree geometric arc, while the bezel takes inspiration from nature, featuring a branch-like pattern that transitions into clean, structured lines along the right side of the watch face.
Between these organic structures, the hour numerals and hands stand out in a vibrant sunset orange, creating a bold contrast against the titanium finish. A full 360-degree minute track encircles the dial beneath the hands, ensuring precise timekeeping. This innovative design makes the STRACTRA not just a timepiece, but a futuristic expression of engineering and art.
Breaking Away from Traditional Watch Design
Unlike the rigid, predictable aesthetics of traditional round or square watches, this concept 3D-printed titanium timepiece embraces an organic design language. Its case features smooth, flowing lines reminiscent of tree branches or the graceful curves found in nature.
Designer Ayoub Ahmad intentionally planned to use 3D printing technology to bring this watch to life, choosing titanium as the primary material for its strength and lightweight properties. Leveraging the freedom of additive manufacturing, he successfully realized the watch’s arched hour scale, circular minute track, and the unique hexagonal case design that sets this piece apart.

On the left side of the STRACTRA 3D-printed titanium concept watch, the dial features a grille-like design, but with subtle raised elements to enhance tactile feedback. Meandering lines flow through the central minute dial, evoking the growth of tree branches. The arc gracefully extends from the hour dial to the central dial, allowing the wearer a clear view of the watch’s internal gears. Beside the dial, the name ‘STRACTRA’ is finely engraved, emphasizing its identity as a 3D-printed titanium concept watch.

This watch design is still in the concept stage. Ayoub Ahmad stated that this timepiece is his entry for Dubai Watch Week, which will be held from November 19 to 23, 2025.
