2.Ultra-Low Moisture Absorption, Lasting Strength
PC GF and PC CF boast an exceptionally low moisture absorption rate (around 0.20%), just one-fourth of PAHT CF and one-tenth of PA6 GF, while maintaining rigidity on par with these competitors. Their interlayer adhesion is even superior, and their rigidity and strength remain virtually unchanged even in wet conditions—far outperforming competing fiber-reinforced PA filaments, whose performance significantly drops after moisture absorption.
As a result, PC GF and PC CF are perfectly suited for printing components used in water-exposed applications, such as surfboard fins, brackets, and pump housings.
3.Weather Resistance Upgrade – Unfazed by the Elements
PC materials are naturally known for their excellent UV stability and heat resistance. Through polymer modification and fiber reinforcement synergy, Apprint’s PC GF and PC CF take these properties to the next level.
Both PC GF and PC CF exhibit outstanding weather resistance and thermal stability, with a heat deflection temperature reaching around 110 °C—well above any extreme outdoor temperatures. They won’t deform even when submerged in boiling water.
